Tabbed form sections (translation)

Hey Everyone,

On my instance I installed the "I18N: Dutch Translations" plugin.

However i'm not able to translate the form sections correctly.

When using "Tabbed forms", the translation is not working.

If I disable this, the translation is working.

Any one have any thoughts on how to fix this?

hi Wolf,

I had tried the translation plugin (chinese) for my instance and observed that the label are being translated for the tab heading label.

perhaps u wanna try check

System Localization > Translated Name / Fields

look for table -> sys_ui_section, element -> caption

Additional reference:

verify value and translated label.

My instance is on Jakarta

Thanks for you reply.

I checked the link you gave me but the workarounds are not working for me.

The "System Localization > Translated Name / Fields" records already exist on my instance, they where automatically created.

I did notice some other things though:

When i activated the "translation prefix" the prefix was different depending on when the form was tabbed or not,

When checking all this in my personal developer instance (kingston), all is working fine.

However the prefix is different over there:

Any thoughts?

hi Wolf,

Hmm, for my instance, chinese characters being loaded for Tab's as TRF instead of CHC.

Anyway, since for German language is loaded as CHC, you will need to check/add translated words in "System Localization > Choices" instead.

Which version are you running?

Tab Titles should be translated fields
