Tags are not visible in database view

Hello Experts,

I have a database view of change table and a custom table.

in the custom table i have a field reference to change table. using this field i have joined the two tables.

now in the list view if i add tags (of change request table), the tags field is not showing the data. but the change request has the tag.

if i add the same tags field using dot walk from custom table (the reference field mentioned above), the tags data is visible.

But I have left join on change request table, so even if custom table do not have the data for any change request, i need to show that change data. here the dot walked field will not help as custom table will not have data for this record.

Basically i want to show tags (on change table) in the database view.

please suggest on how to achieve this.

Thanks,

Ali
