How does the task relationship records gets inserted. Which script does this. I did not find any business rules which would be inserting records to task relationship table. Please advise if anyone you know about it.

Are you talking about the m2m task relationship plugin, or the default relationships that exist due to Parent field?

Relationship types are defined by a dedicated form.
Relationships between tasks are most frequently done manually, but can also be performed via scripting, an example of which is found in Section 7.
