We recently setup a new HR integration from SAP SuccessFactors to Servicenow where users are sync'd from SAP to Servicenow. Due to contracts in place with SAP, the HR data in their lower environments is not permitted to have 'real names'. Due to this our Servicenow lower environments have this anonymous user data (employee ID# is the only valid identifier).
We have setup an exclusion list to remove CMDB owners, approvers, etc. to be excluded from this daily sync to permit for testing and data validation, but this is not a long term 'fix' as it requires regular manual work updating this exclusion list.
Is anyone else facing this issue, and if so, how are you dealing with it?
