Indicator scores not showing up in widget

We had a requirement to change indicators and indicator source for several widgets. The new indicators get their data from a different table, but the historical data should still remain inside the widgets. So I created a few fix scripts to query the old scores on the pa_scores_l1 table, then insert these scores again with nothing but the indicator changed. This worked in dev and test environments, but in production environment most of the data doesn't show up at all even if the scores have been inserted in the table.

 

I can't share a lot of details or screenshots, so I guess it would be hard for an outsider to know what is wrong. I'm hoping that someone with experience of Performance Analytics might have an idea of some common mistake that could have caused the issue.
