I have category and subcategory in the service portal it's working fine subcategory values change based on the category but when I want to change the values in the RITM form or SC task it's not working
And also I see when I select the category and save the form and then I see the subcategory new values based on category how to overcome this problem?
I created a UI policy to make the fields edit on the request item form

Add this in the Variable attributes of subcategory.
ref_qual_elements=category.

Did you use onChange() catalog client script for this?
If so, then make sure that Applies on Requested Items and Applies on Catalog Tasks checkboxes are checked/true.

How have you configured the dependency between those 2 variables?
is it based on sys_choice? or is it based on script?
