So that's what I keep being told...
I'm playing with the Service Portal Home configuration in an instance of New York and able to make changes to the landing page but can't figure out how to edit the Knowledge Portal landing page.
I keep getting
This page is in the sn_km_portal application, but Global is your current application
no matter what avenue I take to either dragging a widget over or to editing/deleting a widget currently on the page.
How to I make the KM portal current?

Have you tried switching your scope to sn_km_portal?
Home > Click on gear Icon at the top right corner > Developer
In the Application, select "Knowledge Management - Service Portal" (sn_km_portal)

Be sure to remember to revert back after finishing up with knowledge portal to avoid similar message that you're in sn_km_portal scope.
