Time CArd Approval

Hi Guys,

I'm new in ServiceNow and I'm not so familiar with the Time Card approval process.

Is it possible to change the out of the box configuration for the approval of the time card?

And if it is possible where we can change it?

Time card approvals do not have a flow work workflow.  There are just buttons that change the state of the time card.  Thats it.  The system does want to see a certain order to things but not much else.  So you need to give more detail on what you are trying to accomplish for anyone to be able to give you any kind of good advice on this.

Actually there is a issue that we need to fix not sure if it is an issue or OOB behavior because what happen is one of our user want

that all of the time card attached to the project will be approved by her. 

I would try and avoid having a different approval process for just one project.  But if you have to do it you will need to add an exception for your current process and then shunt the time cards for that one project over to that person.

 

That can be done with a report or just going to the project and using the Time Card related list to bulk approve them.

 

So what you need to do is going to depend on what your current process is and what your company requires as far as approvals.  Meaning if the Manager needs to approve along with the PM then you are going to have to build a workflow/flow to handle this most likely.
