Title: Brazil: Modern platform New action displays previously saved record despite /-1 URL
I’m developing a custom scoped application on the Brazil release and have encountered unexpected behavior when creating records through the modern platform list and form interface.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the custom table’s modern list:
/now/platform/list/x_2267261_blue_p_0_bp_choice/default-view/params/module/d7d9052a47945b10c96ff3f2e16d437f
- Click New. A blank form opens with this URL:
/now/platform/record/x_2267261_blue_p_0_bp_choice/default-view/-1
- Populate the fields and save the record. The form remains open, and the URL changes to the saved record’s sys_id:
/now/platform/record/x_2267261_blue_p_0_bp_choice/default-view/ab02112a47d45b10c96ff3f2e16d431c
- Manually return to the list and click New again.
Expected behavior
A blank form should open to create another record.
Actual behavior
The URL correctly changes back to the new-record route ending in /-1, but the form displays the previously saved record and its field values. Changing those values and saving updates the existing record rather than inserting a new one.
Troubleshooting results
- Reloading the browser clears the behavior and allows a blank new-record form to open.
- Creating records repeatedly through the same table’s classic list and classic form works as expected.
These results suggest that the modern form may be retaining the previous record’s state during navigation, although I haven’t confirmed the underlying cause.
Has anyone encountered this behavior in Brazil? Is there a known issue or a configuration setting I should check?
