To activate tabbed form and compact view for all users

Hello All,

We have upgraded our instance to "Helsinki" and now we want to set tabbed forms and compact view to true for all users. I have checked under user preference for tabbed.forms   and  

set the value as true however it's not reflecting. For compact view "glide.ui.compact" value is already set to true but doesn't work for all users.

Maybe I am missing something ,Can you help me out of this? Your help will be appreciated.

Hey Shraddha,

For TABBED FORMS -

Goto User Administration -> User Preferences - > Search for tabbed.forms set as true.

For COMPACT View -

Go to User Administration > User Preferences

2. Search for Name --> table.compact

3. Make the User blank and Value true.

Hi Shraddha,

For both the tabbed form and compact view user preference please navigate to User administration-->User preferences and take the below steps:

For Tabbed forms:

Search 'tabbed.forms' in the name and set couple of fields as System is Checked,   Value is 'true' and User is blank. If you can't find any record with such combination, please go ahead and create a new one.

For Compact view:

Search 'glide.ui.compact', and take the same steps as I have mentioned above for Tabbed forms.
