I want to track how many times a kb article is in draft state,publish state and review state . So how can i achieve that please respond asap.

'beingfluid' has written a great step-by-step guide on how to achieve this found below.
In summary, however (in case the link breaks or the article moves in the future):
- Navigate to Metrics > Business Rules & open existing business rule 'metrics events'
- Rename it to another unique name
- Change the table to 'kb_knowledge'
- Right click on form header and click 'Insert and Stay'
- Navigate to Metrics > Instances to view the results for future article state changes
