Translate Search bars placeholder text

Hi all,

I noticed that my search bars aren't being translated when changing language to French (On my Portal and on the Platform itself). Instead of displaying 'Rechercher', it displays 'search'.

I tried create it's key under sys_ui_message, but no luck there. I looked into the Typeahead Search widget to see if I could change anything, but it stays in read-only access.

Any guidance would be appreciated

Can you show a screenshot of the record where you saved the translation?
Additionally is the issue only with this French translation or also with other areas of the platform?

The sys_ui message table should suffice.

It should be based on the sys_ui_message. Did you make sure to set the language to French when you created the Search key word? Make sure to match the case, just in case.

doesn't seem to work on my end:

instead of lower case s, can you create a record Search with an uppercase S
