Trying to change the state from New to Assigned in workbench page

Hello Experts,

 

 I am having admin role ,I am trying to change the state from new to Assigned but it is not changing the state.

I am getting this error. please refer attachment

Seems Assigned to is custom state and error stating on submit script. Please check teh script. In my pdi
