Hi All,
In my dev instance I have activated the plugin: Change Management - Risk Assessment and the Risk Assessment link does show on my change but trying to run it I always get:
By default role required was: admin and it'll_admin and I have removed this and also tried with jut ITIL but I still always get this error.
Anyone know what I am missing to be able to run Risk Assessment?
Thanks, Ellie

Hi Elli,
Not sure if this is too late, but I just had the same issue and saw your post.
I found that there are conditions on the assessment itself and on the individual assessment categories.
My suggestion is to ensure you have an assessment category and that the conditions in both the risk assessment and assessment Category match.
Let me know if this helps or if you figured it out another way.
Cheers,
Scott

Hi Ellie
Did you get to the bottom of the "You are not authorized to take this assessment" message?
I've just set up change management on our dev instance of Kingston and have run into the same issue.
Thanks

Hi Kerrin,
Sorry for the late reply I only now had time to continue with this. I applied Scott's suggestion above and now Risk assessments works fine.
Hope you got it resolved!
Regards,
Eli

Just to clarify for people like me who come along long after the fact:
Go into your Risk Assessment under the Change application and make note of the conditions you have applied to the overall Change Risk Assessment. (even if it's something stupidly simple like "Type is Normal or Type is Emergency"
Now go into each of the Assessment Categories listed on the related list at the bottom of the form (aka the Metric Categories) and ensure that the EXACT same conditions are defined on each and every Assessment Category.
This wouldn't be quite the pain in the butt that it is - if only the Risk Assessments could be captured in an update set without a lot of other wizardry.
sigh.
That's a day I'll never get back. 😉

Hello,
For me, there is no condition and it still does not work.
Do you have other ideas?
