Turn off informational message reports the total number of exact matches

We recently upgraded to Washington DC (patch 4) and noticed a different with the Global search.

 

In Washington DC, after typing in a case # and pressing Enter, it displays the following prompt and takes me to the first record.

In Vancouver and performing the same steps, it provides me with a list view with 2 groups; Exact Match & Cases

Is there a way to disable the informational message in Washington DC?
