Hi @admin51,
I have seen customers with 5 instances, and it really depends on the type of contract and size:
- Developer
- Staging
- Test
- Pre-Prod
- Production
The common is:
- Developer
- Test
- Production
In some scenarios, they also get a Temporary instance to test the new ServiceNow versions, but we usually request from Support and then they clone production to this temporary so we can perform tests and check whether we upgrade or wait for new patches.

Hi @Marcos Kassak ,
I thought you are given me answer about environment like developer, staging, test etc. I wanted to know about instances provided by ServiceNow For e.x : We can create developer instance using URL - https://developer.servicenow.com. Similarly, is there any other instance like enterprise account?

Hi @admin51,
You can customize your ServiceNow URLs as you need:
But as a matter of fact, you can't change the customernamedev.service-now.com, customernamehmg.service-now.com, etc. But you can configure domains as I mentioned above.
