UI Builder Calendar Component - Timeline Sections

I continue to forge ahead learning about the Calendar component. The OOTB component's timeline has a number of sections, of which only two are represented in the JSON of the timeline sections. I figured out that the group attribute of the event demo data, provided with the component, determined which timeline section the event would be displayed in. What I can't figure out is where that mapping is done. The documentation on the Calendar component nor the Timeline component covers this topic? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,
Did you figure out where the mapping was? I am running into the same issue as I don't see how the events are being mapped to the sections. Please advise.

Same for me. I'd like to set it so that clicking the group attribute links to the group record but I can't find any reference to the this section of the display in UI Builder.
