UI Builder Dashboard Page showing "Can't display this dashboard" but I didn't select a dashboard

Hi,
I got a question, since updating the UI Builder plugin to the lastest version is seems impossible to create a Dashboard Page within my workspace with a dashboard. Before this was pretty easy: create workspace, create new page with template = dashboard and then in the preview you could select 'create new dashboard'.
But now after the plugin update I get "Can't display this dashboard" in my dashboard page but I haven't selected a dashboard yet.. (default dashboard is empty, see attachment).
Looks like it trying to display a dashboard somehow, not sure which one and we're..
On my PDI this does work correctly and pretty easy but not anymore on instance of client after updating to latest version of UI Builder
Can somebody help my? is there another please in backend where this can go wrong or something?

Hi Gustavosgom,
I need to go to the dashboard in the UI Builder and then click details? Or you mean in the backend/ non ui builder?
Because in the workspace that isn't possible: I don't have an details/ edit button on my dashboard because it's not displaying anything and I can't edit it or see it (see screenshot)..
See my screenshot I have no buttons, I will get the buttons once it's show the dashboard correctly and options to edit, but that's not the case now.
it that something new since the newest version of the UI Builder? Because in the previous version it was working just fine without doing that step you mention.
Also if I do the exact same thing in my PDI instance (same release and same UI builder version) the step you've mentioned isn't needed as well? In my PDI I just create a new page (template is dashboard) and I get this: (exactly what I need)
and in the client instance I get this..

I thought you were having an issue with an already created dashboard — I had a similar problem with mine, and the solution was the one I mentioned.
From the image, it looks like it’s trying to find an already existing dashboard.
Since your PDI is working correctly,
I recommend going to the PDI instance and checking the name of the dashboard in the "Default Dashboard" field in the UI Builder.
After that, follow these steps in the client instance:
All → Self-Service → Dashboards
and filter by the name you found in the PDI instance.
Then, follow the steps I mentioned earlier — if this is your issue.
