Hi Everyone,
I am facing an issue in UI Builder on the Zurich release while working with a Playbook Experience page variant.
Issue:
When I create a new Data Resource in an existing page variant and click Save, the save appears successful. However, after refreshing the page, the newly created Data Resource disappears and is no longer available for binding/reference.
What I observed:
Application scope and update set are correctly selected and match the experience scope.
Existing Data Resources created by another developer are visible and working properly.
The issue only happens when creating new Data Resources in the original variant/page.
If I duplicate the same page variant and create Data Resources in the duplicated version, everything works correctly and persists after refresh.
The problem only occurs on the original variant.
Environment:
ServiceNow Zurich
UI Builder
Playbook Experience / FSM context
Things already verified:
Save operation completes successfully.
Scope and update set are correct.
Browser refresh removes the newly created Data Resource only in the original variant.
Duplicated variant behaves normally.
My questions:
Could this be related to OOB/protected page variants?
Is there any metadata persistence limitation for existing Playbook Experience variants?
Are there any ACLs, protection policies, or configuration settings that can prevent Data Resources from being persisted?
Has anyone faced similar behavior, specifically in Zurich?
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Rohitp484
Such specific scenarios which are not quite common are often identified and resolved by devs/owners themselves.
You may need to explore below highlighted with before and after refresh to find out the changes in the records.
Hope that helps!

Thank you, and I applied these options, but I still have issues.
