Resource assignments from the original project need carried over to the duplicated project.

Duplicate Project functionality from the Project Workspace → Planning Console, the resource assignments from the original project also Copied over.

Can someone help me on this.

You can duplicate the project’s tasks, relationships, dates etc., but resource assignments are not carried over OOTB, to include them you’d need to build a custom script or UI action that reads the resources on the original project’s task assignments and writes those to the newly created project tasks while mapping the resource records appropriately.......
