UI Builder - New button for knowledge base not working

I created a new workspace using UI builder to manage articles in a specific knowledge base.

Everything works except the New button. I am assuming it has to do with picking with article knowledge base I would like the create.

I found the configuration record that drives the new record: https://{your instance}.service-now.com/sys_declarative_action_assignment.do?sys_id=85ad09be535b10108ce6ddeeff7b120e

It is part of Knowledge Capabilities in UI Builder plugin.

It says "This declarative action assignment will open Knowledge Article Template Selector (sn-article-template-selector) component to select Knowledge Base & Article Template if Knowledge Advanced is installed.", I can't find the sn-article-template-selector as part of list of component.

I don't see Knowledge Advanced plugin so not sure what that means " if Knowledge Advanced is installed."

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello,

There should be a "Knowledge Management Advanced" and "Knowledge Management Advanced Installer" in the plugins list (located it in my PDI), and depending on what you have activated, they may already be installed. You may need to check Knowledge>Administration>Article Templates and ensure you have more than one active template. If there is only one, it bypasses the Template selector, which could be causing your issue.

We had a similar problem, where first the "New" button worked, but then after installing the plugin "Service Operations Workspace ITSM Applications" in SOW the button stopped working in the Knowledge list. Installing a Store Plugin solved it for us.
