UI Builder "Link to Destination" vs Workspace Dashboard preview "Link to Destination"

I have created a Dashboard in the UI Builder counting Incidents (Critical, High, Major Incident). I have successfully configured the Link to Destination event handler that when a user clicks on the Critical incidents single score for instance, it will then direct them to a Simplelist for those critical incidents. This works when I preview the dashboard in the UI Builder by clicking on "Open URL".

However when I view the dashboard in its Workspace under Platform Analytics and try to do the same thing, nothing happens

Is there limitations on Workspaces that could cause this to happen? Or is there something that I am maybe missing or can change?

If its a technical dashboard, follow the proper documentation and once done flush the cache. I have observed sometimes it has lag and max it took about upto 30 mins for redirect to work.
