UI Policy, does Visible work with Dotwalked fields?

I have a UI policy running with these following actions:
You'll notice that the field names are dot walked fields and we are trying to render them invisible in a specific scenario. Except that we cannot. We can render them read-only, but not invisible.
Is it possible that setting visible = false is not possible for dotwalked fields?

Please check your UI Policy scope is same as target table scope.

Did that. Cannot render invisible dotwalked fields.

try client script and use g_form.setDisplay('complete field name')

try with onChange client script and see if that works
Example: g_form.setValue('complete field name')
