ui16 use.concourse u15 login

Hi,

We installed UI16 in Helsinki, but decided to disable it and kept using UI15. Disabled it using use.concourse user preference system wide.

After upgrade, UI16 was enabled by setting the use.concourse system setting back to true.

UI16 was enabled, but login screen is still UI15. Anyone know how to fix it?

There is no guest use.councourse setting, but I am wondering if it is an issue with nodes synchronizing the setting or something else.

We tested this in test environment  and did not run into the same issue.

If your user preferences have changed to use UI 15 and the global user preference has been set to UI16 after upgrade, you also need to set your user preference back to UI16 as it doesn't happen automatically.

Go to user preferences and search for Name contains "concourse", see what values users have.

Thank you for the quick response.

Unfortunately that does not seem to work.

I have set my use.concourse to use UI16 and it does work while I am logged in.

I have also tried using the system as another user that does not have use.concourse setting and they see UI16 while logged in.

When logging out and going to the login page, the login page displays as UI15 login page.

Same happens on chrome incognito / firefox private browsing.

Hi Sakari,

When you click the "switch to UI15" this creates a user preference called "use.concourse" for that user and sets the value to FALSE.

What you would need to do is find this user preference which has system = true and user = null. This is an OOB user preference you can find in the URL below:

https://YOUR_INSTANCE_NAME.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sys_user_preference.do?sys_id=f3195c5beb000...

You can change the value of this user preference to FALSE and by default users will see UI15, until they decide to click "switch to UI16".
