UI16 - Where did split layout go? Critical feature seems gone

This is a critical feature users use with ticket management.   Can't find it anywhere in U16.   Please help!

Hi Trisha, unfortunately, split layouts are not supported with UI16 anymore. If you need them, you have to go back to UI15.

Hello,


We rolled into Geneva about 6 weeks ago and found a few solutions to the issues discussed here. Here goes!


1. For the flipped Work Notes / Additional Comments: Click the Filter icon to the right of the Activity feed on the form. At the bottom of this list, you'll find "Configure available fields." Click this to go into the list view, use the up/down arrows to move Additional comments above Work notes.


2. Alternative trick for the missing split pane view: Hold the shift key when rolling over the 'info' icon for a ticket. This will do an editable overlay window with the full ticket information. Our techs have begun to utilize this in conjunction with the browser tabs as an alternative to UI15. We also enabled the option to flip back and forth between UI15/UI16.
