Hi Trisha, unfortunately, split layouts are not supported with UI16 anymore. If you need them, you have to go back to UI15.

I just got a crazy idea, that is above my knowledge, but perhaps there is someone else reading this who knows how to do it. If we could make the "favorites" to popup a window when hovering over them like the "i" on the list view. Then we could hold "shift" down there as well and get the "flyout" thing we had in UI15...

Hey mloranc,

Do you know if I can do some kind of general settings on the order for work notes & add. comments? Would love to not having to enter every record type and do this so the setting in glide.ui.<tablename>.fields is changed?

I couldn't find an easy global setting to adjust every table, but if it helps the listing exists in the sys_properties table. Just look for the following format:

glide.ui.<table_name>_activity.fields

It should be a string value and comma separated field names. The order there reflects what shows up in your form view.

From that, one could write a fix script to update the values or just double click each line item from the list view for faster editing.

yea,

I took the quicker way since we don't have that many different record types so I just hit the configure fields and move it and saved.. didn't take so many minutes.. but I was against my will do to repeatable manual work

Stay tuned... I think you'll like the Helsinki alternative (and enhancements) to split screens. New product announcements coming any day.
