Unable to add custom columns in Planning Console Project Workspace

I have a requirement where I need to add custom columns in the planning console of project workspace view.

I'm unable to see the OOTB Project Workspace Component. Please see the  attached.

Also I'm unable to add new risk on click the Add Risk button which we can found on RIDAC page. 
Please help.

A bit old, but decided to reply anyway since I was just asking myself this:
It seems this is very easy if the custom columns are in the project task table, and you can follow the instructions of the now support article KB1261948 or the documentation add-new-columns-to-planning-console 

However, if you wanted to add a custom column from the project table, it seems like that is not possible or at least not easy, I understand maybe that is the intended behaviour but there are still requirements where viewing some columns that exist on project but not task would be helpful.

In the back office, display the list of projects tasks (pm_project_task.list).

Select the list view "Project Workspace".

Go to > Configure > List Layout.

Update the list view.

Save and refresh the planning workspace page, goto Column Configuration > Task Plan : your columns are available.
