Unable to add or remove widgets from any Service Portal page

On my Personal Developer Instance, I'm trying to modify the widgets on my Service Portal landing page. Whenever I attempt to add or remove a widget in the page designer, the editor window turns blank and only leaves the header and sidebar menu. In the past, the editor window would turn blank but then would immediately show the new modified page, but now it just hangs forever at this blank screen and does not make any modifications to the page.
I've tried logging out and logging back in, closing all windows and restarting browser, and even moving to another computer, and this same issue keeps happening.
I searched to see if this issue has already been posted but couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Alex,
Please check the application in which application you have created your page and portal and now you are in which application.
if your current application is not same as page application then you can't edit page.
you can check page application from:
system navigation>>service portal>>pages.
and you can check you you current application scope from:
click on the gear icon and set the application scope.
