I am trying to assign skills to user but unable to. I created a new HR Skill and trying to add to users from Manage HR Skills. I am not able to find the users. IS there something I should do to find the users?

hi @samadam

I believe its from HRSD applicaiton that you are talking about. It its correct then do the below troubleshoot first

Troubleshooting Steps:

Clear/Review Filters:

In the "Manage HR Skills" view, carefully examine any visible filter conditions. Clear them or modify them to be less restrictive.
Look for a "funnel" icon or a similar filter control that might reveal hidden filters.

Check User Active Status:

Go to User Administration > Users.
Find one of the users you expect to see in "Manage HR Skills."
Verify that the "Active" checkbox is checked on their user record.
Verify User Roles:

On the user's record, check the "Roles" related list.
Ensure they have appropriate HR roles assigned. If not, assign the necessary roles (with caution and appropriate approvals).

Check Your Own Permissions:

Review your own user record and roles.
Confirm that you have an HR admin role or a role with permissions to manage HR skills. Consult with your ServiceNow administrator if needed.
Examine HR Profiles:

On the user's record, open their HR Profile (if present).

Make sure the HR Profile exists and that the relevant fields are populated.

Verify Application Scope:

In the top-right corner of the ServiceNow interface, check the application picker.
Ensure it's set to "HR Service Delivery" or the correct scope for your HRSD application.

Test with a Known User:

Try to find and assign a skill to a user that you know should appear (e.g., your own user account or a test user with full HR access).
If this works, the issue might be specific to the users you were initially trying to find.

Let me know how it goes.
