Want to edit Short description field in catalog form, but it is in read only mode how to edit.

Please check if there are any UI policies which are making it read only or check at dictionary level.

there is no UI policy on this field,

Once item was created , i want to edit the short description field, but it is readonly mode.

Hello Siva,

You can check any UI policy or client script are present there that make it read only, or check  dictionary level.  After disabling script or dictionary level, you can edit Short description.
