Hi,
I created a new action following these instructions.
I had to slightly modify it as I wanted an array of short descriptions from a custom table. It works when I test it. I get an output containing the values from the target field. However, when I go to publish the action so I can actually use it, I get this error message:
I didn't add that output. Actually, that's not true. When I first created the action I added all sorts of things trying to get it to work and then, when I got it work, I tried to publish it and then got this error. Then, to overcome the error, I completely deleted the action AND the sys_complex_object records in my update set and then created the action from scratch without the child output but I still get the same error.
I've tried to rectify it using this KB article but, as I've seen others comment, I don't know which of the sys_complex_object entries in my update set relate to the output and, even if I did, the KB article says to replace the contents of the "serialized content" field....What does that mean??
I put a HI ticket in on Friday but not heard back. Any ideas?

I was able to right click on the unbidden child and select "Indent Left". This caused it to appear at the top of the Outputs list and the delete button wasn't greyed out. Deleted it and published action. All OK.
