unable to search with short description in global search in servicenow

When i search with the project number it is showing the record but when i search with the short description it is not showing any records

 Hi @demoduffer 

I tested it with Incident, and it is working fine. However, it is returning a large number of results.

and follow the solution step

"performed re-indexing the Record's table by navigating to the Collection Dictionary record for the Record table and

clicking on "Generate Text Index" and same with Group table."
