Unable to view assignment groups

Hello,

On my developer instance, I am unable to view any of the assignment groups through the "Assignment Group" field. This is across multiple modules incident, problem, enhancements etc.

It brings a blank window when I click on the assignment group field in the view/form and same is the case when I try to do it through the list edit.

This problem started only since yesterday and not sure what changes caused this.

This is how the dictionary looks like for "Assignment Group" field.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you turn off Tree Picker do they show. There has been problems with tree picker in the past. Just set the value to false and try it.

Thanks Michael.

But not sure where you see sys_id, are you guys referring to the hexadecimal code "1cb8ab9bff500200158bffffffffff62" in the "Reference Specification" tab.

I see the following types available. Do I need to reset it to one of these?

In your screen shot, there appears to be a sys_id in one of the type fields. Usually that means it was set, but then the type was deleted. Basically what that does is limit which groups show in specific tables, so all groups are not available in all tables.

In the above screenshot, you cannot use sys_id for type. What is the type   of field "Type"? What table is it referencing?

The Type is set to Reference and when I see what else is available under type it brings below list of options as shown in the screenshot.

And in the "Reference Specification" tab I see the following options available for type

Appreciate your help.

Hi srirao. Could you go to your groups table and filter groups with type is empty or type=sys_id mentioned in the screenshot? That will give you what groups should show up. If nothing shows up, then we know the required groups don't exist.
