Understanding the text_search view

Hi,

This is how the text_search view looks in our instance: 

Can someone please explain a bit about when these records under the Lists tab get created? I noticed that anytime I opened the core_company table in text_search view, it added a new entry here with Package type "System(apps/system_user)". It did not populate the User column. However there is one record with table sys_user where there is an entry under User column and how did that appear? BTW: That user is not an admin.

Basically that view isn't used to "look at forms". This view is used to setup how the search results from the global search should look like: Text search views format search results | ServiceNow Docs

But looking at this list, I can admit I get confused as well for the meaning/reason of the screen shot you got there. Wonder if someone else can explain this part.

Thanks Göran for the reply. I was aware about the purpose of the view. I wanted to know more about when these records get created and why there are multiple records on core_company etc.
