Unexpected cascade delete behavior

In my developer instance (Vancouver patch 2 hotfix 1), I see some odd behavior regarding cascade deletes.

If I delete a record (the top record) which has related records set up for cascade delete, the record and it's related records are 'deleted'. All good.

If I restore JUST the top level record (import xml), ALL the previously deleted related records magically reappear.

If I delete the related records first, and then delete the top record, and then restore the top record (import xml), only the top record is found - this is as expected.

Has anyone else seen this?

Hi @GregM,

I tried simulating this behavior in my PDI, but the deleted records are not re appearing after XML load of deleted record.

I'm on same version as you are.
