Universal Requests not searchable by text from global search for anyone but admins

It feels like I've had nothing but problems with Universal Request. My current issue is Global Search. No one except for admins (Admins and Universal Request Admins) can search for Universal Request results other than ticket numbers from the Global Search.

To be clear, text searches on the Universal Request table work for admins, just not non-admins, so the table is indexed. I tried altering the Text Search Groups roles to no avail and I'm having trouble finding anything online to help me. The docs have been useless.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I also updated the Search Sources that Jennifer mentioned below.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

It turns out there were two UR application-specific ACLs that were necessary to resolve this in addition to the Search Source config already mentioned.

ACLs:

sys_search_source

m2m_search_context_config_search_source

Search Source:

Atul,

I appreciate the attempt, but neither creating a new view or altering the default mattered. I suspect this wouldn't be the issue anyway as I mentioned that the search works exactly as expected if the user has an Admin or URAdmin role. This appears to specifically be a role-based issue somewhere.

Then log a Now Support case and share feedback with us.
