Update OT Change Request Incident Label

DeIvory Gordon

Hello,

In service now, in the Industrial Workspace, for OT change requests, I have to update the wording from "Operational Technology Incidents" to "Incidents Caused by Change."  There is a screen shot below of where I need to make the change.  I thought I could right click on the label and I would see configure label, but that is not the case.  I am not sure where I go to change the label name because I do not use the workspaces and it is not intuitive. Any guidance is very appreciated.

Hi @Delvory Gordon

I’m not sure which version of OT Change Management you’re on, but in my PDI (OT Change Management 3.0.0 and OT Incident Management 4.0.0), the OT change record in Industrial Workspace already shows Incidents Caused by Change out of the box, along with Incidents Fixed by Change. ServiceNow added these related lists in later versions of the app, so upgrading may give you this label with no changes needed.

(Refer Attached Screenshot1)

If you’d rather change the label yourself:

  1. Go to sys_relationship.list.
  2. Search for the name shown on your tab (e.g. Operational Technology Incidents). It should apply to sn_ot_change_request and query from sn_ot_incident.
  3. Change the Name to Incidents Caused by Change and save.
  4. Run cache.do and reload the workspace. The workspace caches the label, so you won’t see the change until you do this.

Refer Screenshot2&3
