Hi,
Our Update Source was deleted by mistake in production environment, is there any way to recover it without having to recreate a new one?
Thank you
Julien

I understand the 'Audit' and 'Compliance' issue of creating this again in prod, but if you think, this is just configuration and not any code change. So it should be ok creating a new one on prod.

I tried reimporting the Update Source xml from a clone, but then I loose the Logs, or at least, they loose their reference to the Update Source...

You would have to manually change the <sys_id> envelope in the XML file to match the sys_id being referenced by the Log files. This can be done in a text editor before import.

It's not working because the deletion of the Update Source has set null on the sys_id referenced by the Log Files. I think we'll just live with it...

I had a gut feeling there is no other way out here.
