URL is not on Google & Canonical URL not property in Google Console Account

Hi, 

Can anyone help on Google console?

I am working on a Sitemap Generator. After adding the property and submitting the sitemap in Google Search Console, I inspected a URL and saw the message: 'URL is not on Google' and 'Canonical URL is not in the property.'"

You can check if your instance has a functional Canonical URL defined through one of the online Canonical check utilities (search for: check canonical url).

We are working on a similar issue:
The Google Search Console shows that a large number of our pages are not being indexed.
The main reason seems to be that we do not have a Canonical URL defined.

The ServiceNow documentation has some info about how to define a Canonical URL but we cannot seem to get it to work on one of our non-production instances.
The online Canonical check utilities keep returning that we do not have a Canonical URL defined...
