User an switch between its Access between Admin and just itil user access

There is been an requirement from client end to avoid data breach  cases Admin should have restricted access to certain  assignment groups , So is there any way we can achieve where user can basically elevate themselves to admin role for performing development activities , other wise use normal itil  roles .

The only option is to create the same user with different IDs—one user having admin rights and the other having only ITIL access.

Only admins are allowed to impersonate users, which is useful for checking issues during odd hours when the user might not be available. Admins need the Impersonation role to view other user profiles or, in some cases, update records with necessary approvals.

Due to security reason , itil or any other role should not impersonate Admin.

admin role comes with great responsibility.

Not everyone should have admin in PROD

Very limited users should have admin for basic debugging like checking logs, impersonating, running scheduled job etc
