User unable to login into ServiceNow

Hi ServiceNow Community Developers,

I have a user who, for some reason, is unable to log into the system in prod. When I impersonate him I get the same issue as him, I cannot open any application / module, I can see the left hand application nav but I cannot open anything, the system just hang. When I log in as myself though or when I impersonate a different user the system works fine. The issue seems to be isolated to this particular user and I cannot figure out what the issue is with him. His user record is fine and he is an admin. The issue started this morning and it does not seem to go away. Do you guys know where else in the system can I look to figure out what is going on with this user. Please advise.

Thanks for your response, it was very helpful.



The issue was caused by the user's homepage, the user changed his homepage to something that does not exist in the system and that's why the system hung every time he was trying to log in.

This must be related to user preferences but as you mentioned this issue is related to production, I would recommend you to raise a HI ticket.
