Users are not able to preview KB article record before approving

Hi,
I have created a knowledge base and added workflow creating approvals. When approval is created, KB article number is populated in the approving since KB is not extended from task.
People in the "can contribute" were able to preview the record, but others were not able to preview it.
Has anyone faced the same thing before.
Please let me know.

Thanks for your input. This article covers with blank approval for field but my issue is with previewing the KB article records from the approving itself.
