Hello
All of our users have a secondary email address that is used in the event that they cannot be reached via a primary email.
However, I notice that when you set up the notifications, when you toss in a user, it automatically uses the OOB email address.
Any way we can set it up to use the secondary email address?

Here is what you can try, All emails will be send to primary email device.
1) Create a secondary notification device(cmn_notif_device) for email with a different address and keep it inactive.
2) Add a checkbox or UI Action(whichever option is best) on user profile for switching between primary and secondary devices.
3) When you switch, the primary notification device will be set to inactive and all emails send to it will be stopped.
4) The secondary mail notification device should be set to active and all new emails will be routed to it.
5) You also need to reverse switching from secondary to primary.
Thanks

That seems to be a rather roundabout way of doing it but I'll give it a shot. Thanks

Not quite. We're talking about choosing primary and secondary emails for a user, not a group.

You can use same approach for user profile like create an email field in user record etc..In the above thread it is mentioned for group record..
