Using CSM for our external customers and using AD Azure logins issue, user information not showing

We have currently configured CSM for our external customers using Accounts and Contacts.

 

We are sending our external customers and invite via AD Azure.  We have setup a group within AD and added these external users so they can see the application that they will click on to then login to ServiceNow. 

 

Issue:

External customers are getting logged in to ServiceNow but they are showing on the user table as "user" not "contact" and also their user profile information is not populating into the user table either.  Only thing coming over is User ID and Email address.

I am having to manually associate these users to their Accounts and fill in their First name, Last Name and phone number.  I am also having to manually add the ServiceNow group for the customer service permission. 

 

Question, How do setup AD or ServiceNow to automatically populate the external customer information into the ServiceNow user table?
