HI all,
we are in the process of developing our Service Portal, and I'm seeing that variable sets on catalog items are not displaying on the catalog item in Service Portal.
Is this expected behavior? If not, any ideas about why variable sets aren't showing in SP?
here is a screen shot of an item in Service Catalog, the "Requestor" and "Needed by" are a variable set...see below that they don't show in SP view of same item:
and this one below here is the view in the SP...note the Variable set is missing. I've tried setting "Display title" to false...didn't work.

Hello Shane,
got this figured out. The variables that are in my variable set that was not showing up in Service Portal had the "Visible on Guides" set to False. When I sent them to True, they appeared correctly on the catalog item in Service Portal. Thanks again for your input.

Hi Patrick,
Have you fix that issue because I"m also getting same error.
IN my case, a variable set is always visible in portal whereas in ITIL page it shows only on condition YES. In portal if I do YES or NO it doesn't impact.

Hi Patrick,
I'ts appearing always in serviceportal for all the catalogs which use that variable set. It's not happening in Helsinki version. IT happens after upgrade to london. Seems some portal widget issue.

Hi All,
I got same issues and I gone through Snow community. I tried with below options and it worked for me.
***check its associate catalog UI policy and client script which having UI type as ALL***
for this goto section part of UI policy "script" then "Run scripts in UI type" and make as "All" it should help you.
