Hi All,

We have a can read and role field on knowledge form, whats the use of those fields and how can we restrict the users by editing/deleting the article except the owner of that article or owner group of that article.

Please suggest.

Hi Ashwini,

Can read controls visibility of Article whereas if you want to control editing and delete then try with ACLs, go through OOB ACLs on Kb table, Mark my answer as correct if that helps.

I am trying to create a ACL for controling the users not to edit/delete the article except the auther and the owner group. Can you please give the script or step by step process how to achive this. It will be really helpful.
