Hi everyone,
My catalog item has variables that are visible in RITM when I submit the request from catalog item.
But I cannot see the variables inside the RITM if I create the request and RITM manually by clicking on "New" button in RITM.
Kindly advise if anyone of you has any idea. Thank you very much.

Hey @ChanN!
No problem, I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly. Have you checked to see if any catalog client scripts or UI policies are associated with your variables?
Without having a hands-on keyboard, it's a little hard to say, but from what it looks like, creating a RITM via REST API wouldn't solve your issue. I would think that it would be one of the issues above, ACL, or form view issues which is preventing the variables from populating. Unless I'm misunderstanding entirely.
Thank you!

Hey @Josh_H,
I have 2 catalog items with variables.
- 1st one has client script to make the field mandatory and hide some sub variables if the condition is true.
- 2nd one doesn't have any client script or UI policy.
Variables from both of them cannot be seen in RITM via manual or REST API submission.
My requirement is to create a RITM request together with variables values that will be pulled from MS Form's response via Power Automate.
Thank you!

Hey @ChanN
So i would tell you few things here
firstly create a request through catalog item where you go service portal choose a item , add some of your value to the varaible inside the item and submit a request.
Secondly there is something called "REST API explorer" if that is something you are looking for , so it is REST API call and it creates a request and item in SNOW after submitting it.
Please accept the solution /mark this response as correct or helpful if it assisted you with your question.
Regards,
Animesh
