Variables on TASK Suddenly Shows "options" instead of Header

Suddenly, perhaps after Utah upgrade, on some TASKs we are seeing a strange behavior where the descriptive element is missing from the variable section on the TASK, but is still there on the RITM and we cannot figure out what is going on.
RITM variables section looks like this-
But the TASK variable section that the team is TRYING to work from looks like this-
I am not even sure what each data element is called in this case, but it seems like we are somehow losing the header title for the checkbox sections. We are having trouble figuring this one out. Any ideas?

the variable editor header is missing?

please check if the global field for the label variable or any other variable is set to true. if this is a common issue with a bunch of different catalog items you can set global to default = true for all variables except for an MVRS. MVRS variables can not be set to be globally true.
