Views in context menu when hidden are still visible and I need to restrict who has access to views

This is kind of a multiple ask

First off the list of the views within the context menu for any pm_project record..there are over 20 views.  They only want 3 views shown, 2 are custom, 1 is OOTB.  I went to remove all the views and change them to hidden status (the ones I dont want available) and they are still visible.  I saw an article saying this is a known issue on SN but that was in 2022.  Thats issue number 1

Issue number 2 I thought I could restrict access to views based on what group a user is in.  Make a group 1, group 2 and group 3.  Group 1 would ONLY see the default OOTB view, group 2 and 3 would see their respective views that are custom.  I see I can do this with roles but I need it done with groups

Issue 3 and this is a reach....client is using the classic project workspace.  When they click on New Project and get this pop up.  Can I customize this view so it mimics the specific custom view when creating a new project? If so how?

Hi @F3nix ,

Hi there,

You could navigate to "System UI" > "Views", select the view you are after and add roles or make a view hidden. You could also add an user or a group, though those fields are out-of-the-box not on the form lay-out, so just add these to the form lay-out.

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.

Thanks & Regards,

I have been navigating there and making them hidden via the checkbox...it is not working.  For this to work does it need a condition associated?
