I have a request to delete a view of a workspace as its causing a problem  and we are using the default view

what is the best way to overcome this

1. what are the consequences of deleting the OOTB view

2. Best possible way to hide the view even for admin

It is not Best Practice to delete the view.

Go to System UI" > "Views", select the view you are after and add roles or make a view hidden.

Thanks Ravi, can you tell me what is the impact when you say its not best practice to delete

Any thing that comes OOB shall not customized as there might be future upgrade issues. 

So that's why it's best practice to inactivate OOB and create copy for OOB Scripts, views, ACLs etc.
